The Heuer Carrera is one of those iconic designs that is like a good wine; it is gets more desirable over time. Inspired by the 1960s architecture its esthetics really grasped the zeitgeist.

Jack Heuer designed for legibility in every aspect of the watch and the result is one of the finest examples of a collectors watch. .

This Heuer Carrera 45 dates from the mid-60s (the first Heuer Carrera was shown at Basel in 1963). The reference 3647S is fitted with a Hand wound  Valjoux 92 movement and a 436 dial. It has the serial number  75545 engraved between lugs at 6 o’clock. 
Original dial (not restored) in excellent condition Silvered, baton numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands (partly dissolved), two subsidiary dials
Case: Stainless steel, screw back, two round buttons in the band, 35.5mm diam.
Crown; signed Heuer. A generic 1960s stainless steel watchband fits a wrist with a circumference of 185 mm
