Silver tea set L.W. van Kooten

1928 Sterling silver tea set on tray made by the then young Amsterdam silversmith: Lodewijk Willem (Lody) van Kooten (1903-1972), son from a established jewelers family. He specialized in the design and manufacturing of handcrafted silver objects. This set shows obvious influence of the style of the Amsterdam School. The embossed decorations are characteristic for the work of Lody van Kooten.
