Purple-red and white guilloche enamelled brooch set with old- and rose cut diamonds and a green demantoid garnet. The round broche is decorated with a border of white pearls. The colours of this brooch: green, white and purple were used by the Suffragette movement and symbolise hope (green), dignity (purple) and purity (white). This brooch is a relatively luxurious example of Suffragette jewellery.
