Maja Houtman necklace Canistra Jacobi

We are proud to present this necklace "Canistra Jacobi"  by Maja Houtman. Maja Houtman is an internationally renowned Dutch jewellery artist. The necklace is made of silver and is manufactured in the fine-wire technique developed by Maja.

The term Canistra Jacobi (Latin for "the baskets of James") usually refers to the religious concept known as the reservation of James or sub conditione Jacobi.

This concept is based on a text from the Bible (James 4:13-15), in which the apostle James calls upon believers to always acknowledge the will of God when making future plans.
