1970’s Pearl and diamond pendant. Slightly asymmetrical yellow gold open structure pendant with ruffly finished gold, set in its centre with a good quality 7 mm round akoya pearl and two single cut diamonds with a total diamond weight of 0.08 ct. In the 1970's period young goldsmiths waned to  distinguish themselves from the generation preceding them. So instead of using highly polished gold they experimented with structured gold that resembles the way gold was found in nature.
This 22 x 39 mm big pendant is a attractive example of a jewel made in this period.
