1.63 ct SALOMONS SEAL cut CVD diamond

Over the last fifty years master diamond cutter Pieter Bombeke has proven to be one of the most prolific diamond designers of his generation. Successful cuts like Xiao Long, the Jacobsladder and the Dreamcatcher are all his creation. To celebrate 100 years Aardewerk Diamantairs (Diamond Dealers) (and site holders) Rocks and Clocks, founded by David Aardewerk, is proud to be granted exclusivity on Pieter Bombeke’s Salomons seal cut. In this cut Pieter explores how to maintain brilliance while reducing the number of facets. The Salomons seal is a cut with 19 facets ,has considerable different proportions and a totally different reflection pattern than the Brilliant. It shows the star of David named in the bible as the seal of king Salomon. In 1923 Aardewerk Diamantairs (Diamond Dealers) was  founded by Salomon Aardewerk and today the company of Rocks and Clocks is run by his great grandson David Aardewerk. A fitting diamond cut for the Aardewerk family, a family that does like to shine and excel is what they do.
