Rare 1970s Vintage Danish 14 carat gold modern design ring set with blue Chalcedony.
The ring is signed GBP for Gabriel Bent Pedersen Denmark and 585 for 14 karat gold.

Bent Gabrielsen Pedersen was among the first group of students to be trained at the Danish College of Jewellery and Silversmithing. In his younger years he realized a large number of designs for Hans Hansen, where he was artistic director until 1969. His work seems to seek tension in how the line develops from straight to curved to double curved planes, as in this ring. But always looking for the tension in the line.
