Rudolf Steiner 18K gold & Emerald ring

Ring designed by the philosopher and architect Rudolf Steiner. Made in the studio of the goldsmith Bertha Meyer Jacobs (where his designs were often executed). One starts with a flat sheet of metal which is deformed into a plastic shape by hammering and annealing (this prevents the metal from tearing). The organic form that Rudolf Steiner propagated is thus created. "It brings the soul of the material" to light. Something that is important in Anthroposophy. The 18k yellow gold ring is set with a cabochon cut emerald of 9.5 ct. Ring size; USA size 8¼, GB size Q ½, circumference 57, intersection 18¼ mm.
