Lacloche Frères Art Deco purse watch

Extremely rare Art Deco purse watch made by Lacloche Frères. Mechanical 17 stone, hand wound moment by Vacheron & Constantin. Silvered dial with applied gold stylized Arabic numerals, dial signed Lacloche Frères, housed in a 18k gold case with geometrical black champlevé enamelwork.

On either side of the watch two gold pushers operate the two hinged doors that hide the hinged case holding the moment. When released the doors can hold the case in an upright position. Watch case including the wheels operating the doors are made of 18 carat gold. London Import Mark for 1928
