Facile/Bevet purse watch

Art Deco silver & enamel purse watch, signed Facile. This timepiece is in a very good condition and working order. Case signed Bevet 63830 Swiss 14234552, A.G.R. 925. Case decorated with black and egg shell lacquer. The condition of the casing is very good, there are no dents. The original dial is clear and has only minimal signs of ageing. The watch glass is clean and unscratched. The watch has a quality 16 jewel Swiss lever movement, which is in good working order.

Dunhill 'La Captive'

Dunhill, movement No. 108779, case No. 21594 by Tavannes, circa 1940.Fine and rare sterling silver and black lacquer 'La Captive' purse watch. Rectangular with two panels that flip open by pressing the spring-loaded sides of the case to display the movement and the dial, which can be tilted and held by the panels, making it a desk clock. The case is partly covered with black lacquer and partly decorated with Art Deco motives. Matted silver with applied gold Arabic numerals. Black Breguet hands. M. 8’’’ cal 816, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, flat balancespring, index regulator. Signed Tavannes on dial, case, and movement, and 'Dunhill' on the dial.

London Import Mark for 1928 Jewelled manual wind movement, silvered dial with applied stylized Arabic numerals, dial signed Lacloche Frères, hinged case housed within an 18ct gold case with black champlevé enamel work, the two shutters operated via depression of the case sides. 30mm x 42mm Bijzonder Art Deco “tas” horloge.
