A Belle Epoque hair comb

This elegant hair comb is fitted with an intricate mechanism. The tortoise shell legs are set in hinged fittings: the comb can be worn as a hair jewel but also as a clip-brooch.
The nineteen old mine cut diamonds of excellent white colour and clarity (Wesselton & VS2) with a total weight of 2,6 carat, are adorned with 160 rose cut diamonds. Making the total weight of diamonds over 3,5 carats.
